The Wave
On a trip to Zion National Park in October/November 2016, I was lucky enough to win the lottery and qualified to be part of only 16 people allowed to visit this amazing geological site.
The Wave is a sandstone rock formation in Arizona, US near the border with Utah. It is situated on the slopes of Coyote Buttes in the Paria Canyon-Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness. The actual location is kept secret and the hike to get there is difficult and unmarked.
