Yosemite

“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if we seek them with our eyes open” – Jawaharlal Nehru

Yosemite National Park is situated in California and is arguably the most photographed place on the planet, made famous by the photographic genius – Ansel Adams. It is a world heritage site with spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls and giant sequoia groves.  Originally inhabited by the Northern Paiute and the Southern Sierra Miwok people, they are now often referred to as Ahwahneechee, ‘People of Ahwahnee’, Ahwahne being their name for ‘Yosemite’.
